Post-Portrait (2014-2015)
When Beth Yarnelle Edwards lived in the South Bay in the late 1990s, she began photographing affluent Silicon Valley families. She became fascinated with how the complexity of their lives is reflected in their homes, possessions, and family dynamics. John replicates a film still: a scene was set up, and the participants were asked to select and act out a scenario from their daily lives.
